Four Lions players in top 15 of Duane Monkley Medal table
Wellington Lions captain Du'Plessis Kirifi has moved up to third equal on the Duane Monkley Medal table after six rounds of the Mitre 10 Cup.
Kirifi was awarded three points following the Lions impressive 54-24 win over Otago at Westpac Stadium last Sunday as he imprssed with ball in hand and his link play.
The openside flanker has now been awarded six points towards the medal and is three points behind leader, Waikato and Hurricanes first five-eighth Fletcher Smith.

Lions hooker Asafo Aumua was awarded two points following the Otago match and now has five points. They are joined in the top 15 of the medal table by fellow Lions players Teariki Ben-Nicholas and James Blackwell, two of the impressive Wellington forwards this season.
The Lions sit second on the Mitre 10 Cup Premiership table, seven points behind runaway leaders Tasman and two points ahead of third placed Auckland who they meet at Eden Park on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Wellington Pride wing Ayesha Leti-l'iga is in the top 10 of the Fiao'o Faamausili Medal table after another strong performance against Counties Manukau on Sunday.
